The main application of zinc stannate

Zinc stannate Zn2SnO4 (ZTO for short) is a ternary oxide semiconductor material with a band gap of 3.6eV at room temperature. It has the characteristics of high electrical conductivity, fast electron transfer, high chemical sensitivity, low visible light absorption, and excellent optical properties. It has been reported that ZTO has applications in solar cells, lithium-ion battery anode materials, gas-sensitive materials, and photocatalysts.
This product is mainly used as a flame retardant and smoke suppressant in the plastic industry. It is an ideal product to replace antimony trioxide. It has the advantages of safety and ease of use.
