Cobaltous acetate tetrahydrate is a magenta crystal, soluble in water, acid and ethanol.

Cobaltous acetate tetrahydrtae is mostly used for polyester catalyst, ice ester acid oxidizer, cobalt acetate tetrahydrate is also used to make secret ink, oil paint condensate, feed stuff additive, foam stability,ceramic paint and so on.
