Application: Cupric oxide can be used as a pigment, as a fungicide, and as an anti-fouling agent for marine paint. Cupric oxide is also used as a catalyst. However, exposure to this type of copper oxide can be dangerous.

Storage: Stored in dry and draughty warehouse, prevent dampness; isolated from strong acids or food; fight fire with water.
