Copper
Copper is one of the basic chemical elements with symbol Cu (cuprum). Copper is reddish-orange metal known for its high thermal and electrical conductivity. Pure copper is rather soft and malleable and (when fresh) has a pinkish or peachy color, which (besides gold and caesium) is unsual for metals, which are usually silvery or grayish.

Copper-KnowledgeCopper uses
Copper is commonly used to produce a wide variety of products, including electrical wire, cooking pots and pans, pipes, and tubes, automobile radiators, and many others.Copper is also used as a thermal conductor, an electrical conductor, a building material and constituent of various metal alloys.
Copper is malleable and ductile and is a good conductor of both heat and electricity. Copper is often too soft for its applications, so copper is incorporated in numerous alloy. For example, brass is a copper-zinc alloy, and bronze is a copper-tin alloy.
