1.3 Synthetic Route
The metal tin nitric acid oxidation method melts the washed tin ingot, and then slowly pours it into tin flowers with an iron spoon in cold water. Then the tin flower is slowly added to the nitric acid diluted to 20 ° Bé for reaction, waiting until no nitrogen oxide escapes, and there is no tin left, the reaction solution is clarified, the supernatant is sucked out and reused, the generated β-tin acid is rinsed with boiling water, and then washed with deionized water until the iron and heavy metal analysis is qualified, and dehydrated. Dried at 120 °C, calcined at 1250 °C, crushed, and sieved to obtain tin dioxide
Applications of STANNIC OXIDE
Tin oxide is made from tin salt, and the pigments are mixed with chromate, lime, vanadium, chlorine, etc., to obtain different colors such as pink, beige, yellow, purple, gold, etc., and used as a coloring agent for ceramics and enamel, glass polishing agent, making opaque glass, opal glass, fabric mordant, weighting agent, analytical reagent, steel and marble polishing agent, organic synthesis catalyst, making enamel, electromagnetic material.
